Donations and Sponsorship Guidelines

Sponsorships and donations involve financial and/or in-kind contributions (staff time, donation of equipment, provision of office space, ect.) to local events or organizations.

Preference is given to charitable and non-profit events and organizations.

The credit union may consider sponsorships and donations in the following areas:

Communtiy economic development
Youth and education
Visible minorities
Health and human services
Agriculture
Arts and culture
Professional or amateur sport
Co-operative development

The credit union wil not support:

Political or religious organizations
Advocacy organizations whose causes are publicly controversial
Requests for general operating funding
Financial support to benefit an individual
